Information we process

Benedict AI processes account details, workspace content, prompts, AI responses, feedback, and operational records needed to provide and protect the service.

AI providers

Prompts and necessary conversation context may be sent to the AI providers selected to produce comparison and synthesized answers. Do not submit secrets or information you do not have permission to process.

Image generation and editing

Image-generation prompts and, when you use image editing, one uploaded PNG may be sent to Cloudflare Workers AI. Chat history is not included. Benedict AI supports ordinary non-sensitive images of adults and other subjects. For uploaded media, only use files you own or have permission to process. Do not use image features for minors, explicit sexual content, deepfakes or impersonation, identity documents, credentials, confidential information, or other sensitive content. PNG metadata may be included. Inputs and generated outputs are stored in a private Supabase bucket. Viewing and downloading use short-lived signed links; anyone holding such a link can access it until expiration. Inputs are removed after normal worker settlement; interrupted uploads may require operator cleanup. Use Delete image and files before deleting its conversation; conversation deletion alone can leave inaccessible private files awaiting operator cleanup. An attempt ledger is retained separately for abuse prevention and service limits. Image requests are subject to Benedict AI limits and provider capacity. Basic prompt filtering is used but is not a comprehensive media-moderation or factual-verification system.

Automatic web search

Quick mode may automatically search for current information about supported public topics. A generated query built from public topic names is sent to Tavily, not your full message or chat history. Recognizable sensitive requests are skipped, but detection is not perfect. Do not submit personal information, credentials or confidential data. Tavily may use query data to improve responses and may share it with search-index providers under its own privacy policy.

We store requested queries, retrieved source snippets and search status with the conversation. A limited operational search-attempt ledger containing user identifiers and timestamps is retained separately to enforce capacity and prevent abuse; deleting conversation content does not reset that ledger. Retrieved sources are not a guarantee that an answer is correct.

Why information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide projects and conversations, execute AI requests, prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, monitor reliability, and respond to feedback.

Retention and control

Account holders can download their account data and permanently delete their personal account from Privacy & data controls. Some limited records may be retained when legally required or necessary for security and fraud prevention.

Security and changes

Benedict AI uses access controls and service separation to protect stored information. This policy may change as the public beta develops; material updates will be identified by a revised effective date.
